Highlight:
This work has been presented at the Annual Integrative Ultrasound Meeting 2021 and illustrates a series of three clinical cases for which specific pathological conditions (osteoarthrtis, vertebroplasty, vertebral fractures) impair the accuracy of bone evaluation by means of the gold standard DXA, whereas no influence has been observed on densitometric results obtained by REMS technology, which therefore facilitates a correct bone health evaluation in clinical contexts.
