EchoS
A new concept of Bone Health
This marks the beginning of new way of managing assessment of bone condition through prevention, early diagnosis of osteoporosis, and monitoring of bone health in primary care, either comfortably in the clinic or directly in the patient’s bed at home.
FDA Approved
The most advanced bone densitometer for bone health assessment for your daily clinical activities.
Through an ultrasound scan of axial anatomical sites such as the spine and femur, this innovative technology allows to measure bone mineral density without using ionising radiation, by processing a true bone identity card. Besides ensuring a high level of accuracy, it does not require radiological protection, it is easy to use and its distinctive transportability facilitates the use thereof among patients hospitalised with fractures who cannot be transferred and the continuity of care at home.
Furthermore, the absence of radiation allows this method to be used on a heterogeneous variety of patients, including paediatric patients, patients at risk of secondary osteoporosis, diabetic patients, patients who have undergone cancer treatments and pregnant women.

Why Echos
Radiation-free
The first ultrasound system which allows access to prevention, early diagnosis of osteoporosis and monitoring through basic health care. EchoS can assess bone health conditions of people who have been discharged from hospital, using X-rays, by means of a simple ultrasound carried out directly at the pharmacy, at a private clinic or even at home.

Quick Scan
The ultrasound scan takes just 80 seconds for the spine and 40 seconds for the femur, therefore enabling an accurate prevention, diagnosis and monitoring of bone health without limitations relating to the positioning of the patient and manual image segmentation.
Report on the spot
The examination generates an instantaneous medical report which – besides including all parameters most commonly used in the diagnosis of osteoporosis such as BMD (g/cm2), T-score, Z-score – also includes independent assessment of internal bone structure, which provides a fragility index and body composition index.

Portable Solution
EchoS also comes in a portable version which allows to conduct examinations wherever one can connect the main unit to a laptop using a simple USB cable. The size and materials that make EchoS an ultra-light device allow an easy displacement thereof.
Cost Effective
EchoS does not require a qualified operator, a shielded room, and high maintenance costs. Its versatility of use anywhere and under any condition offers significant benefits to your clinic and your patients.

The science of excellence
As regards diagnosis of osteoporosis and related bone diseases, the most prestigious personalities of the world scientific community have chosen EchoS and share their thoughts on their experience using R.E.M.S. technology. The clinical validation of proprietary technology was carried out in the most prestigious centres of reference for the diagnosis of osteoporosis worldwide.
