(Lecce, September 2023): We are pleased to inform you that Echolight has officially joined the IOF (International Osteoporosis Foundation) Committee of Corporate Advisors (CCA), comprised of leading companies in healthcare which are dedicated to improving the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis for the benefit of patients worldwide. The Committee of Corporate Advisors (CCA) is a unique forum composed of a wide and diverse range of companies committed to promoting bone health and improving the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and fractures by developing integrated and targeted regional strategies, strengthening organisational capacity, sharing views and specific topics of interest, such as the challenges faced in the field of osteoporosis, launching new scientific programmes and initiating awareness campaigns worldwide.

Joining the committee reinforces Echolight’s credibility and commitment within the scientific community, interacting directly with IOF stakeholders and members of the global musculoskeletal health community, and demonstrates once again the important role Echolight has achieved in the global medical and scientific scenario.

Furthermore, in September Echolight was proud to support the first edition of the new Capture The Fracture® e-magazine ‘FractureFocus‘! The magazine contains news and updates supporting the development of the Fracture Liaison Service (FLS), highlights FLS success stories, publications from the network, useful resources and much more. Capture the Fracture® global program was developed by the International Osteoporosis Foundation to facilitate the implementation of coordinated, multi-disciplinary models of care for secondary fracture prevention. It is recognized as the single most important step in directly improving patient care and reducing spiraling fracture-related healthcare costs worldwide.
