Highlight:
The goal of the study is the characterization of the population classified at highest risk of osteoporotic fracture according to the National Osteoporosis Foundation guidelines; the classification is based on the results of the FRAX questionnaire integrated with femoral neck T-Score values measured with REMS technology for a total of 189 women. The results of the study reveal the typical profile of a patient at highest risk of fracture: postmenopausal women at older age, with low femoral neck BMD, low weight and height, who had previous fragility fractures, who have been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and have used corticosteroids.
