First assessment of maternal status during pregnancy by means of REMS (Radiofrequency Echographic Multi-Spectrometry) technology

This study opens a new perspective in the evaluation of bone health by investigating the effect of pregnancy on women’s bone health: the results show that the effect of pregnancy is a significant BMD reduction (8.4%) as measured on the femoral site.
